Staff Photos
As part of our service to your kindy/ childcare centre we offer headshot portraits of each of your staff members every year ! These are done in the outdoor space in a natural light setting.
As a thank you for having us these are complimentary and include a full resolution digital file of each educator/support staff plus a 5 x 7 inch print.

CLASS PHOTO OPTIONS
Traditional Style Class photos
Popular with community Kindergarten groups
Parents will love traditional style class photos that show their child with friends and educators ! Our class photos are done outdoors and are such a special momento of their child's kindy year.
We do recommend this style for 4-5 yr old age groups only. It works best at community kinders where all children come on the same days.
Composite Style Class photos
Works best in the Childcare setting
This is the best individual portrait photo of each child in the group. We preselect the best image to fit for this style class photo.
Composite class photos are used for childcare settings as not all children can be present for a traditional style class photo on the same day.
As we only photograph children that register for photos - parents must register to have photos taken to be included on the class composite.
Traditional Class photos - Important update 2026 in regards to Permissions
Due to updated privacy recommendations across kindergarten (and Childcare / Early learning) settings, any child not registered for photos must still have written permission to be included in the class photo.
You have 2 options:
Option 1 – We capture a class photo (traditional style - as above) and ensure permission has been given for any NON registered children.
When parents register for individual photos - this also gives us permission for their child to be in the class photo UNLESS the parent specifically tells us they do not want their child in the photo.
Some parents may choose NOT to register - in that case - they will need to sign the permission form at the kindy for inclusion of their child in the class photo. At a later stage - they may opt to purchase the class photo if they wish.
No class photo previews will be shown in private online photo galleries prior to purchase.
Families will be informed at registration of this
Parents should be aware that the kindy makes the choice of naming of class photos - either first names, both names or no names.
(Please note: some parents may request previews, which will be declined)
Option 2 – No Class Photos and have INDIVIDUAL photos taken only.
Kindy's can opt for NO class photo at all and we only capture individual photos of children that have been registered for photos.
Due to increasing privacy considerations, some childcare centres are now choosing to remove class photos altogether and offer individual, permission-based photography only.
Please chat to Trina @ Red Cherry if you need some more clarity on this. It's tricky to navigate but our overall direction is to ensure that permission is given for inclusion in class photos for child safeguarding.
