Our Photography Process
Book in early to secure a spot for 2021 - We photograph from FEBRUARY through to end of NOVEMBER during school terms only.
ONLINE PHOTO GALLERIES are password protected and ready for families to view in 7-10 working days after the sessions are completed at your centre.
Depending on your centre size we photograph over multiple days so every child is scheduled for photos during our visit.
Purchased prints are delivered complimentary to your centre approximately 2 weeks after the closing date for orders.

DO FAMILIES PAY UPFRONT ?
For Kindergarten only centres - No payment upfront is required. For Childcare Centres - LDC - Yes - a $25 pre-registration fee is applicable in order to have a selection of 10-15 images to choose from - The prepaid fee is credited back towards a purchase from their online gallery of images. Families choose their photos after viewing their child’s photo gallery. We ask that you look over our price guide to ascertain if our pricing will suit your centre families. Our prices are competitive with the added bonus that we give your families the luxury of a choice of images and not just 1 preselected photo.
DOES THE CENTRE NEED TO HANDLE ANY CASH OR ORDERS ?
No, All Ordering is done through our secure online gallery and cart. We handle all that for you.
WHERE DO YOU TAKE THE PHOTOS ? We photograph in the outdoor areas of your centre. This aids in creating the photos you see on the website with natural light. We choose areas that have some shade to produce this result. In wet weather we will either move to an area undercover or discuss the suitability of postponement. This is extremely rare in our beautiful Queensland climate !
WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME? The sessions take from 2 -4 days for centres up to 130 enrolled children - longer for larger centres. Photo galleries are then ready to view approximately 7 - 10 working days after the last session at the centre. There is then a 2 week ordering period for printed photo packages. If families order digital files they are delivered immediately.
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE ? Yes. I have public liability insurance. Proof of insurance coverage available on request
DO YOU HAVE A WORKING WITH CHILDREN CARD ? YES, Trina and her team all have a Working With Children Blue card.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH CLASS PHOTOS ?
Yes, For community kindergartens we offer a traditional class photo style. This is where all children are sitting together. This is scheduled on 1 day at a certain time. For Childcare centres - for ages up to 3 year olds we recommend a composite style class photo (best individual photo of each child on one print. We can discuss with you the suitability to do a traditional class photo for the oldest class group only.
WHAT IF CHILDREN ARE ABSENT/SICK ?
We will reschedule them for another day whilst we are attending the centre if they are pre-registered. We ask that families contact us to arrange this so they prepare their child for photos on the next day. Schedule permitting we may be able to arrange a return to the centre to photograph absent children.
DO YOU SUPPLY PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL - FLYERS/POSTERS ?
YES, 1 month prior to photo sessions we make contact to ask for class lists so we can prepare unique flyers for every child. We also supply posters to hang at the centre. Emails are sent to families to ask them to collect their flyer and pre-register for their child’sphotos to be taken.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH SIBLING PHOTOS ?
YES ! We love photographing siblings ! Families need to ensure they have pre-registered for this bonus opportunity. Sibling photos are photographed on the youngest child’s scheduled photo day.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH SIBLINGS THAT DON'T ATTEND THE CENTRE ?
We provide this service for smaller centres and as time permitting if the family contacts us through the pre-registration process. It is only available for siblings not enrolled at the centre that are older than 3 years old . Lots of families request this for school age children ! Our priority is providing the most amount of time for photography of centre enrolled children.
