purchased files are High Resolution Files suitable for printing up to
16 x 24 inches in JPEG format. So big enough to print lovely sized wall canvases.
All purchased digital files are for personal use only.
How are my Digital Files delivered to me ?
1. Direct Download: If your having trouble downloading your files and working it all out - Click here for a step by step process to download your digital files.
2. USB: Alternatively
you can purchase a USB from the cart as well for $20. This is for
your purchased files to be loaded on to only and delivered to you. NB:
to obtain complimentary delivery of USB it must occur before delivery is
made to the kindergarten/childcare centre - afterwards is a $15 postage
fee.

EASY ! This is the consumer arm of the professional print supplier I have used for printing KINDY PHOTOS for over 10 years. Their product quality and service is excellent and prices are very comparable to budget print outlets. Photos are delivered to your door ! They are awesome.
Printing your images at budget print outlets ...
Some clients will ask if they can print at places such as Kmart, Big W etc - Well, yes you can do that ... BUT, I actually don't recommend printing any photos produced by Red Cherry Images at
budget print outlets as the quality, colour, and results are less then
optimal and quite often will appear very different to what shows on your
screen. Harvey Norman in my opinion is about the best of the budget outlets for printing. Please print at these places at your own risk ! More often than not clients are disappointed with how the colours look and the quality. The prints will absolutely fade in a short period of time and just do not stack up against professional quality. My Pro Photo prints offers professional quality at a VERY competitive price in comparison to budget outlets !
Using budget wall art print suppliers....
Be advised that the colour and quality will not last. Cheap canvases fade really quickly ! You're better off spending just a little more with a reputable professional supplier so that they last. I've also come across budget suppliers that produce wall art with unusable mounting, frames that break etc. You certainly get what you pay for !
Another tip: If you plan on printing up a large print - always print a sample print first prior to printing up large.
Enlargements and cropping files
Please ensure when you are printing your files that you keep your cropping lines in proportion with the file size of 12 x 18 inches. Files purchased by Red Cherry Kindy Photos can be enlarged into canvases and wall prints up to 16 x 24 inches. If you do need to go larger - just contact Trina and a bigger sized file can be sent to you. Please ensure it is soon after your purchase though - as files are only kept on archive for a limited time. An extra fee may be charged if files need to be retrieved from a few years ago.
Printing at Different Ratios: When you start to print out at different print sizes that are not in the same ratio - you will see cropping occur.
So by this I mean - always check your cropped files on screen to ensure you have not cut off the image in an odd way.
Enlarging photo and cropping: Please keep in mind the more you crop in on a photo the more you are lowering the quality of the photo. Eg cropping down a full length photo of your child to just be a photo of their face will decrease the quality of the print quite dramatically. If you are just after a close up facial photo - make sure you select one of these composed photos already in your photo gallery.

BLACK AND WHITE CONVERSION:
In your photo gallery all your images are edited as black and white as well as colour. A special edit on these photos is done to ensure it is a proper black and white conversion and not just monochrome (which can look rather dull in comparison)
YES, Most print outlets can turn any colour photo to black and white - but keep in mind it is just a straight monochrome conversion - so it will never look as good as a proper edited black and white conversion - as that is a process done by photographers to ensure the balance is done correctly and is optimal for best photo quality.
WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY DIGITAL FILES ?
The possibilities are endless. Here is some of my favourite suggestions ! Just to note: Please use your digital files for personal projects only.
PRINT THEM ! don't hide them away on your digital devices - any size and as many as you wish - great for relatives and friends - stick them on the fridge, your desk at work, beside your children's beds in frames (kids love photos)
WALL ART - Canvases, Frames, Acrylic prints, Wood blocks, framed, glass prints - Check out myprophoto.com.au for their products. You wont be disappointed !
PHOTOBOOKS at the end of the year for relatives and your own family to look back on for years to come. Put aside a few hours for a couple of nights to create this and you will not be disappointed. My favourite company to do this is an American based company - so make sure you just give plenty of time for it to arrive (it's actually not as bad as you think) I've put together a photobook, ordered and received it in 2 weeks. SOCIAL MEDIA BRAGGING- Go on we all do it ! post to Facebook, instagram etc - I would love you to tag "Red Cherry Kindy Photos" @redcherryimages in your posts as well ! One of the BEST things about posting to facebook is that in a year, 2 years, even up to 8 years - they do that fantastic thing that comes up each day where you see memories of years gone by - I LOVE seeing that and it reminds me of great memories !
EMAIL to overseas relatives for them to print - Instead of printing photos and then packaging them up to send overseas - it is so much easier to send an email with a couple of photos. Make sure you give instructions for printing for any less tech savvy relatives !
HERE IS A GREAT IDEA>........ Start a social media account for your child when they are young (keeping private ) and add photos each year for them to enjoy when they do start using their account ! They will have lots of memories already posted - Gosh I wish I had done this !
